Okay i reckon this is gonna be a darn long post. Last night at around 1am plus, i tried logging onto the internet but i couldn't 'cos somehow it isn't responding. I reckon its the rain. But then again how can the rain affect the internet connection? I guess somehow it has to do with the radio signal transmitted in orbit and somehow the signal got lost due to the strong gust of wind(i think it could be one of the possibility so i'm not ruling that option out).
And so yesterday i went out with my mom and my bro to renew our passport at the immigration centre. We spend close to 1-2 hours there can? Gubai. So many legal stuff to take care of. But after that my anger was appeased as we went to have lunch. So we ate at New York restaurant at Citylink Mall. The food was fantabulous can. It's bloody dope larz. 4 thumbs up with the toes(some joke made during the zj retreat lol). But then the high part is the Iced Bailey Chocolate (: It's heavenly. After which we went shopping (as usual). I got a cd. It's christmas song sang by Corrinne May and it's one of the cd i wanted to buy after hearing her song on tv. And i didn't regret it though. Her voice is very angelic. Next i got a shirt from ripcurl. Before settling down at starbucks for my frappacino. After which, my parents (dad joined us later) and my bro left the place while i head down to town by myself to search for some stuff and do a lil window shopping. Zara is chocked full of stuff can. I was literally bouncing on my feet when i saw the new arrivals.
And i left the place at 5.30pm for dance. The journey to school was so tiring due to the fact that i woke up at around 8 plus yesterday and also due to the heavy downpour. So i took the long route to get to 73 and i met jiajun at the sitting area below the convention centre leading up to canteen 1. I sat with him until it's time for us to leave for dance. And during dance yesterday, ann told us to choose 3 songs. Initially i wanted to go for the 3rd song but everyone voiced out the 1st song and i was like "oh ok anything". Halfway through the dance, ann told us we're smart enough to choose the 1st song 'cos to some degree, it is easy but there is still some element of difficulty in it. I keep on forgetting steps after the 4th set of the 4th eight. It's really irritating can. And somehow the dance is close to lyrical hip-hop and i kinda like how ann choreo the dance. It has a nice feeling to it. And i wanted to learn the steps from the second class and i approached don but he said he kinda forgotten bout it 'cos its quite difficult. And so a few taught the group B the dance.
And the day before yesterday, i went to watch Eragon with my church friends. I wasn't impressed. Not at all. I was mildly disappointed 'cos the movie deviated way too much from the book. And to movie critics and reviewer, PLEASE read the book. You guys harped bout how a farmboy can turn into a hero overnight is getting irritating. The book will tell you how eragon learned his magic and swordfighting which the movie failed to potray( it did show but it wasn't shown enough. his magic and swordfighting wasn't an overnight thing. it took him months to get him to where he is in the later part of the book). That's why it left alot of question marks for you movie critics and reviewers. There were alot of loopholes in the show for e.g Arya's hair is suppose to be black not auburn. Eragon wasn't suppose to know Saphira's name until he visited Brom to know more about dragons in particular their names until he started naming her with all male names until realization dawned upon him its a she which is the same goes that he didn't know it's a she until upon realization as the show potray Saphira talking to eragon and telling her name and eragon's sudden knowing that his dragon is a she. There are alot of loophole but i shall not list out in details. For more information please read the book people. The 2nd part of the movie have alot to live up to especially they omitted too many important scenes. And i know its nigh impossible to condensed 400 plus pages of material into a 2 hour show. But the producer can be smart about it by choosing which is the most important event to be shown. I give 3 stars for the film but zilch stars for the gubai producer for not having any common sense not to deviate too much from the book. I know it's part of the creativity but as they say too much cook in the soup spoils the broth.
